8:10am meet time
Bird walk w/Lake Ridge Wild Bird Center
Join the Lake Ridge Wild Bird Center for monthly birdwalks at the Occoquan Bay Refuge (every 2nd Saturday of every month). No experience is neccesary! Be prepared for the weather conditions and to walk for an hour and a half. Meet at the store (12555 Dillingham Square) between 7:45 and 8am, or in the Refuge parking lot at 8:10am.

Come join Alonzo Abugattas from Arlington's Long Branch Nature Center for an evening walk at Occoquan looking for breeding woodcocks - look for their one-of-a-kind mating displays. No RSVP needed!

Featherstone NWR Clean Up
Come take advantage of this rare opportunity to access Featherstone National Wildlife Refuge, normally closed to the public. This tidal wetland is in desperate need of stewardship. Come join in the fun of removing litter, tires and who knows what else. What to bring: rubber boots and work gloves.
