Join the Lake Ridge Wild Bird Center for monthly birdwalks at the Occoquan Bay Refuge (every 2nd Saturday of every month). No experience is neccesary! Be prepared for the weather conditions and to walk for an hour and a half. Meet at the store (12555 Dillingham Square) between 7:45 and 8am, or in the Refuge parking lot at 8:10am.

5th Annual Fall Wildlife Festival
Come out to the refuge for a day of fun and interactive wildlife experiences! Among the attractions will be the Raptor Conservancy of Virginia's Live Raptor Show, Reptiles Alive Backyard Reptile Show, as well as a Hay Ride around the refuge. The Bird Banding Station will be open as well; come see native birds up close! Admission is free! More information will be available towards the end of summer.
